‘Tanami Track’ was done in honour of my Father who was dying at the time with great dignity. He owned a cattle station in the far northern Kimberley area of Western Australia and every year he would travel South along the Tanami Track [ through the Tanami Desert ] to the fishing village that we grew up in.

I have never been to this Desert but my Father always had such great stories to tell and these stories were absorbed, digested and reproduced. An aerial overview of a natural landscape – the hues and colours of a harsh but beautiful brown land.

Earth, air, skies, horizons, the horizontals, the verticals. Life meets Death. Death brings Life. Up the track and down the timelessness of life.
